Kat in Chicago contacted me about a client she had in mind for me, but first we talked about what I was looking for in a potential match. She was very efficient in her approach in that she only asked thoughtful and relevant questions. She was warm, friendly, engaged and a good listener. She told me about her client and followed up with a pic and bio. I was amazed at how much I had in common with him - he sounded too good to be true - but I agreed she could share my contact information.
My match texted me the very next day, we talked that evening and we continued texting until we could meet about a week later. In this time of social distancing, we decided to get coffee and walk to a park even though it was lightly raining. We chatted nonstop under umbrellas, and the next thing you know, two hours had past. He walked me to my car and asked me out on a second date. Due to the protests, riots and closed streets, we had to reschedule our second date a couple times, but that gave us more time to connect over the phone. Finally, we had our second date, it was even better than the first and we will go out again soon.
It wasn't too good to be true after all. Kat described him incredibly well and with complete honesty. I'm so grateful Kat introduced me to my match because I don't if we would have met since we are not in the same neighborhood, profession or social circles. It really showed the value of matchmaking - it's much more productive than endless swiping on dating apps where most guys I meet are either not good matches or are only looking for a casual date.
I've been set up with clients through 3 other matchmaking companies and felt they were not as accurate or honest in their descriptions in the guys, and therefore the matches were not right. I'm very grateful for Kat and Three Day Rule. Thank you!
